Consignment, Selling and Authenticity Agreement
Clothes Minded, LLC (4740 Liberty Ave, Pittsburgh, Pa 15224) will gladly buy/sell your authentic designer handbags, clothing, shoes and accessories in our store, through social media, and other selling venues.
We offer 2 ways to sell: 1) directly to us, 2) on consignment. Please read this agreement carefully.
Item Criteria
1) Authentic luxury labels such as, but not limited to; Chanel, Hermes, Louis Vuitton, Burberry, Gucci, sneakers in brands such as Adidas x Kanye West, Supreme, certain editions of Air Jordan, Versace, etc...
2) Like-new to gently-used condition.
3) Other information that concerns authenticity such as receipts, dust bags, authenticity cards, paperwork, etc...
PLEASE NOTE: IT IS ILLEGAL TO BUY OR SELL COUNTERFEIT LUXURY GOODS. WE WILL NOT BUY OR SELL COUNTERFEIT ITEMS AND WILL IMMEDIATELY RETURN.
Process
Upon receipt, Clothes Minded, LLC will be responsible for the promotion, care and customer service associated with selling your items, including authentication, market price evaluation, detailed description, in-store merchandising, Internet listing, customer communication, and if required - secure packaging, shipping and insurance of your property. We will take all necessary steps to sell your item quickly for the best price possible. If your item comes back as not authentic the sender will be responsible for return shipping charges. We reimburse shipping charges once items are sold/consigned and are able to be used. It is the consignees responsibility to have items that are shipped insured with tracking numbers and signature confirmation to our store location. We will photograph all items received for evidence to prevent scamming and dishonesty.
Payments
We issue consignment payments via check or paypal once the item has sold. Direct buy payments are made after the item has been received and ourselves, or third-party authenticators, have certified the item's authenticity. The authentication may take several days, depending on the brand, and we will issue payment as soon as authentication and market research are completed.
Selling Option 1: Direct Buy – The Fast Cash Option
We will buy select items outright for a fair value after authenticity has been verified. Typically, direct buy offers will typically be 35% of our appraised resale value and is not based on the original retail price. Direct Buy is the quickest way to sell. However, you can receive more for your item by consigning it with us.
Selling Option 2: Consignment – Wait Patiently, then Get the Most Cash
We will use our store, customer base and other selling avenues to sell your authentic high-end designer items and pay 50%-70% of the profit to you. We cover most sales transaction expenses such as credit card and PayPal fees. If your item has not sold after 90 days, it can be returned to you.
Consignment Term & Item Pricing
Each item is for sale in our store and through other avenues for a minimum of 90 days.
Initial price is determined according to current market value through our research data.
After 30 days the price can be reduced by a mutually-agreed amount.
After 90 days we can return your item to you, per your request.
Cancellation Clause: Agreement and Consignment can be terminated at any time, by request. However, shipping will be paid for by consignee,

By signing this agreement, you hereby affirm agreement with all of the points outlined in this document, and that you are the lawful owner of all the merchandise you are sending to us. This agreement can be terminated upon receipt of written notice signed by you, subject to the cancellation clause described above.
Any direct buy offer we make is not guaranteed until the item is examined physically for condition and authenticity confirmed. At our sole discretion we choose which items we will take in based on desirability and ease of sale.
